For many years the best time to fish out of Flamingo has been June thru August. September and October are really good months for yellow fin tunas on the 200+ pounds, with a good chance for sails and marlins as well.
Inshore Fishing at Flamingo Bay Area is also well known for excellent light tackle fishing during all these months.
Rooster fish, Spanish mackerel, barracuda, snappers, groupers, Amberjack, wahoo and many more species can be found around the "Catalinas" and "Bat Islands."
