Overview

A typical hunting day starts with a wake- up call around 5 a.m., followed by breakfast and then it's into the hunting vehicle and the adventure begins! Depending on the hunting area, species you are hunting and so on your Professional Hunter may decide to take a picnic and stay out for lunch or you may return to camp mid-day. In the evening, after a rewarding day in the bush you will return 'home' to a well deserved hot shower, drinks round the campfire and a delicious three course meal.

We employ experienced skinners in the camp who field prep your trophies ready to be transported to Dar Es Salaam and exported to your taxidermist. Whilst the paperwork is being processed the trophies are kept in an air-conditioned room to ensure they do not spoil. We endeavour to expedite your trophies soon after they arrive in Dar Es Salaam but it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months depending on paperwork both in Tanzania and from the importing country. In order to facilitate the speedy shipment of your trophies it is advisable to select a taxidermist and clearing agent well in advance and provide us with their details. It is also advisable to apply for any import/pre-import CITIES permits before starting your safari.
