Frazier Outfitting
Overview
Frazier Outfitting operates 40 miles southwest of Creede, Colorado near the headwaters of the Rio Grande River. The upper Rio Grande valley is one of the most rugged and scenic valleys in North America.
We are privileged to offer outstanding Elk, Mule Deer, Bighorn Sheep and Moose hunting in unit 76, which is one of Colorado’s best quality game units. Not only is unit 76 famous for quality animals but also for its rugged and remote scenic high country valleys.
Frazier Outfitting does not offer guided fishing, however we do offer horseback access, either by day trip or progressive camp, to some of the finest back country water in the state of Colorado. The upper Rio Grande Valley offers tons of fishing opportunities, but many of the best are accessible only with a very long hike or a short horse ride. All of these streams and lakes receive minimal fishing pressure and offer quality back country fishing for native Rio Grande cutthroat and brook trout as well as browns and rainbows.
