Chick Hill Guide Service
Overview
Welcome to Chick Hill Guide Service, a fishing, canoeing, and upland hunting guide service located 30 minutes east of Bangor International Airport within driving distance of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, Grand Lake Stream, and the North Maine Woods.
Fly fish or spin cast local lakes and rivers for smallmouth bass, brook trout and salmon. Fly fish remote ponds in northern Maine. Troll in the spring for landlocked salmon. Half day or full day trips, lunch and all gear provided. We fish out of our 21 ft Maine Freighter or paddle canoes.
We also chase ruffed grouse and woodcock out of Umcolcus Sporting Camps in northern Maine, well known for its superb grouse and woodcock cover and 3.5 million acres of logging trails and endless areas to hunt, with no competition.
