Becharof Lodge

Welcome to Becharof Lodge, one of Alaska’s most remote, breathtaking destinations. The only way to reach our camp is by bush plane. Once here, prepare yourself for one of the most tranquil, captivating experiences of your life! Our camp is situated in the heart of some of the best brown bear hunting in the world. Due to our location on the coast of southwest Alaska, and the fact the mountain range in which these giant brown bears den for the winter is only 75 miles away, many bears congregate here. The moose in our hunting area also grow big, thanks to healthy genetics and plenty of food. Wolves, wolverine, red fox, ptarmigan, ducks and geese are often taken as bonus species by many of our hunters. The Egegik River is touted by many experienced anglers as the best silver salmon stream in Alaska. Our camp is located less than 10 minutes from some of the best salmon holes on the Egegik River.
