Alaskan Mountain Safaris

Alaskan Mountain Safaris provide guided safari style hunts in Alaska for Dall’s Sheep, Grizzly, Moose, Caribou, Black Bear, Wolf and Wolverine. Alaskan Mountain Safaris is a small, family operated business that promotes the multiple species concept of hunting in Alaska. We feel that if you are spending the time and expense to come to Alaska on a guided hunt it makes better sense to take advantage of all that Alaska has to offer at that time. We have been conducting this style of hunting for almost 30 years.

Drawing on this experience we have found that conducting fewer but longer multiple species safari style hunts promotes better stewardship of our resources and the greatest rewards for our clients. If any part of Alaska was created as a home for a multitude of wildlife species, it is the western Alaska Range. The Alaska that we envision as majestic glacier capped mountains (Denali–The Great One); timber clad valleys, tranquil and silent, that lead out to the seemingly never-ending tundra covered foothills. This is the heartland of Alaska. Home of the largest moose on earth, vast herds of caribou, bands of Dall’s sheep, grizzly, black bear, wolf and wolverine.
